So, I gave up on doing Fanfiction pretty soon because I’m really uncomfortable using other people’s characters.
But I did manage to do a crossover between two popular franchises at the time:
Ghost Rider And…
El Chavo Del Ocho.
…And I remember Pac-Man appearing in the middle of it.
APPARENTLY THE IDEA IS GOING AROUND THAT HULK “HATES” FAN FICTION. HULK ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT.
FAN FICTION IS A REMARKABLE OPPORTUNITY TO REEVALUATE AND SHIFT EXISTING MODELS (ESPECIALLY AWAY FROM POP STRAIGHT WHITE GUY PERSPECTIVE).
THE WORRY (WHICH IS TRUE OF ALL ART) IS THE MEDIUM’S PREDILECTION TOWARDS THE MORE INDULGENT FORMS OF STORYTELLING.
WHICH ISN’T TO SAY THAT INDULGENCE HAS TO BE BAD. JUST THAT THERE IS OFTEN A LACK OF AWARENESS OF THIS KIND OF STUFF.”
I’m starting to think that can diminue the enjoyment of a work. Especially the good ones.
Not sure, don’t have any proof, but unfortunately I’m starting to get this feeling based on my own experience and observations.
Oh damn, I’m forggeting about Fallout Equestria, but the story is too long for me to read again.
I’ll probably read the TV Tropes page to see what I forgot.
Oh droga, eu estou esquecendo o que aconteceu em Fallout Equestria, mas a história é longa demais para ler de novo.
Eu provavelmente vou ver a página no TV Tropes para ver o que eu esqueci.
